Me: Good morning Jackson.
Jackson: Good morning mommy.
Me: Breakfast is on the table. There's sausage, eggs and fruit ready for ya.
Jackson: Sounds good, but what's my main dish?
Me (laughing): Main dish?! All of that IS your main dish.
Jackson: Those are my sides, I need a main dish like cereal with it.
Me: Well OK, if you eat all that I've already served you, then you can have cereal too.
Jackson: OK, I will
Sure enough! Jackson ate all that I originally made for him and then he tackled a bowl of cereal too! I cannot imagine what and how much they'll be eating as pre-teens thru teenage years! Yikes... ;-)
In Jackson's defense...those are side dishes ;)
